​Not the great win that was deserved and very much wanted but it was the start of season and we are all holding NON wanted weight and getting back into the game after a crazy time off. The team played amazing and Claire was super interceptor hence POM.

defence - worked hard but every time the GS got the ball she scored no matter what the defence did tactically they could not stop the goal going in. Helen really pushed Erica with movement in the circle followed by a back up pass from Claire All defence drove the ball up for attack once they had the ball back they was not letting the oppo have that ball again.

Mid court - the transisition from either an intercept or centre pass was superb work with Paige and Gemma like whippets driving forward for the ball and really claiming that pass. Emily came on with newer legs for that extra energy. All good drives and positivity from the mid court

Attack - with such tall defence the odds was stacked against the attacking circle with Leanne being smaller but holding her own and H there encouraging and feeding so much so they pulled it out the bag to score 32 goals between them both. Confidence is the key in this attack and next time we will see that I am sure after much encouragement from the other players. This is team work at its best.
